Colbert gets to the heart of intolerance right here.. and I think it’s not too big a stretch to apply a very similar argument to the whole ‘atheists vs. theists’ thing as well, especially when the accusations that ‘atheists are just as intolernat as fundamentalist christians’ get thrown around.
